The Range Rover Evoque Rally will take part in the 2013 Dakar race, and will represent team Excite Rally Raid from Britain. This is Britains first pro team to enter the Dakar race competition, and they plan to build three of the Range Rover Evoque Rally cars. If you think the amazingly styling is all it can offer…. A 3.0-litre BMW turbocharged straight-six diesel engine, producing 275bhp and 480lb ft of torque will be behind the power of The Range Rover Evoque Rally. The 260-litre fuel tank allow for the 5600-mile race distance.
In fact, the car may have the flavour of a Range Rover Evoque, but it has completely different underpinnings – all designed to comply with FIA specifications. So while its styling may appear similar to that of an Evoque, it is a completely different machine underneath!
